Sister's Radio

(Francois Mulder)

Pictures are memories of times that we didn't have to spend alone.

Footprints are temporary documents of people living temporary lives.

You came and you turned my life around and upside down.

You were just a little girl.

On That day not more than two.

Sleeping next to my hospital bed on the day that I was born in 1984.

Girl of 1982.

I came whether or not you asked for me.

You were my sister holding on to just a screaming baby brother boy.

And you opened my eyes and you came and you saw and yo changed my life around

CHORUS:

You made me into what I want to be today.

You might not know it, but as you turned the radio on to listen to your favourite song.

You made me into what I want to be today -

All because of the songs you were playing on your radio.

We dreamt up mountains in the backyard

so we could climb till the sun went down and the moon came up

and mosquitos made it totally unbearable to stay outside some more.

We stayed and played whether or not it became completely dark.

We were together, a brother and sister and I'm forever grateful for...

CHORUS:

You who made me into what I want to be today.

You might not know it, but as you turned the radio on to listen to your favourite song.

You made me into what I want to be today - All because of the songs you were playing on your radio.

BRIDGE:

I believe that God has made us a perfect family.

Even though mom and dad broke up and we are all living a thousand oceans apart.

I believe we all can be the ones we want to be even though we cannot see it right now -

Hold on, Hold on.

Pictures are memories of times that we didn't have to spend alone.

Footprints are temporary documents of people living temporary lives.

Hold on...
